Saurabh Chhabra, MD, received his Medical Degree from the University of Delhi in 2002. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ in 2008. He then went on to complete his Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Cancer Institute of New Jersey in 2011. Dr. Chhabra then moved to Stanford University, Stanford, CA and completed his Fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation in 2012. He was recruited to Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC in 2012, where he was a member of the Hematologic Malignancies and BMT Program. He was also an Associate Program Director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at MUSC. He has been an author or co-author of several publications, abstracts and book chapters in the field of Hematologic Malignancies and BMT. Dr. Chhabra has been recruited to MCW where he started in the fall of 2016. His clinical interests include Hematologic Malignancies, especially plasma cell neoplasms and Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
